Fun4Youth is an after school program and school holiday program for young people with disabilities located at Tuggeranong Youth Centre. To be eligible for Fun4Youth young people must be aged 12 to 21 years, live in Southern Canberra and be attending school.
There is a cost of $18 per day for the after school program and $40 per day for the holiday program (cost includes all meals, excursions and activities) and you may be entitled to a rebate.
The after school program runs Monday to Friday, 3pm – 6pm, during school term and Monday to Friday, 9am – 5:30pm during school holidays. The program is closed on Public Holidays.
The young people participate in social and recreational activities in an inclusive context, during the 3pm to 6pm timeframe. All activities operate at the Tuggeranong Youth Centre or within the wider Canberra community and are age and culturally appropriate.

INCLUSIVE DRAMA in 2010
An adult community based arts education program. This drama program is open to adults with & without disabilities.
Sessions aim to support participants to develop their creative potential, build connection & collaboration with others in a supportive & positive environment & increase confidence in communication & self-expression using a range of practical drama activities.
No specific skills, ability or experience required.
Wednesdays 3.30 to 5.30pm for 10 weeks each term. Enrol in as many terms as you wish (28 Jan - 9 April; 27 April - 2 July; 19 July - 24 Sept; 11 Oct - 17 Dec)
Downer Community Centre, Frencham Place, Downer
Come and Try Session $5 (first week of program) Total Contribution $50 for 10 week term (support workers/ carers free).

ACT ARTS FUND
The ACT Community Arts Office are calling for applications for Micro Arts Grants Application. The Micro ARTS Grant program provides individuals, groups and organisations with “small” grants of up to $550.
The aim of the program is to support arts practice and arts development in the ACT region.
GOAL:
“Build community capacity to generate high quality, diverse and visible arts activities”.
Who can apply?
Applicants must be a resident of the ACT or be able to clearly demonstrate an ACT-based arts practice. Individuals or groups working in any art form Artists at any stages of their artistic careers: emerging, developing and established. Groups and individuals delivering community arts projects in the ACT.
NOTE: Groups must be an incorporated ‘not for profit’ organisation or be auspiced by an incorporated organisation. NOTE: Priority will be given to applications that are by, with and for people with a disability, Indigenous Australians and those from multicultural (Culturally and Linguistically Diverse) backgrounds.
What kind of things will we fund?
Funding (in full or part) will be considered for: 1. Costs associated with an individual’s arts practice and development. 2. Costs directly associated with community art projects that “Build community capacity to generate high quality, diverse and visible arts activity”

Learning Options Horticulture course
Canberra Institute of Technology (CIT) Horticulture, is offering places for students in the Learning Options Horticulture course at Bruce campus.
We have positions available for students who have horticulture as their interest, who would like to join our CIT Learning Options Program here at Bruce campus, this year. This course is for students with disabilities. We have a general requirement that students can work fairly independently, and participate within a group with some basic computer awareness skills.
The course is on every Monday between 9.30 – 3.00.during term time. Students participate in practical, hands on horticulture in the morning session. The afternoon program comprises literacy/numeracy fun with horticulture, as the focus. Our students engage in life skills learning, teamwork, and are supported by staff. I will enclose our Flyer for distribution to staff and clients.
